Would you like to earn £25 and take part in an interesting project? Are you a journalist or trainee journalist interested in the way head injuries are reported and portrayed by the press? We are searching for volunteers to take part in a focus group that will explore how the media helps to shape societal views and use of language around consciousness and brain injury.  Participants will be asked to watch a 12-minute documentary, complete two questionnaires and take part in a guided, group discussion.  Sessions will be audio-recorded, will last approximately one hour and take place from 2pm on Monday 17th September at Medway or Thursday 20th September at Canterbury. If you’d like to take part email Jill Hurst with the date you are available at j.hurst-853@kent.ac.uk or telephone 01227 82 3907.
