Deutsche Welle seeks trainee journalists

The German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle is offering an eighteen month journalism traineeship for English native speakers.
It is looking for talented young people with an interest in politics, society and culture.

The programme prepares up-and-coming journalists for international reporting for television, online and radio.

Jemma Collins and Graham Stothard are first recruits to KMTV

Many congratulations are due to Jemma Collins BA (2014) and Graham Stothard MA (2014). Jemma and Graham have been recruited by the KM Group as trainee multimeda journalists. They will be involved from the beginning in producing high quality video journalism for KMTV's IPTV and terrestrial digital services. Jemma and Graham are the first Centre for Journalism graduates to benefit from the Centre's involvement in this unique and exciting partnership. They are pioneers on a route we hope others will follow.  

Mhairi joins Latest TV

The good news about Centre for Journalism graduates just keeps coming. Our latest success story comes from Mhairi Beveridge, who has secured a job as a news reader and video journalist for Brighton based Latest TV.  The photo shows Mhairi in the studio on her first day at work.
